Homemade Lemonade - May 1, 2011

Today, I would like to share with you our personal favourite and the best Home-made Lemonade Recipe. Those lemons I bought from the Hunyadi Piac near Oktogon in Budapest were lovely, and so fresh! Lemonade drink for a Sunday is a refreshing way to welcome the Spring, yes, the Spring in Budapest shall arrive in a few days, yay! For weight watchers, this is a great master cleansing diet too.




This is the proportion of the ingredients:
200 g white sugar
1 liters water
200 ml lemon juice

1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining water.
3. Enjoy :)

Per servings yields 72 calories
